My Sexy Saturday - Centaur Style!

Welcome to the 99thweek of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme is Keeping It Sexy and we in the blog hop are thinking about all the wonderful things that lovers do to and for each other. Those special vacations, those sexy beach or mountain homes, or maybe it’s just a fun day at the spa. Or taking a ride in the latest spaceship or seeing the home they’ve built together for the very first time.

There are things that all lovers do to keep their love fresh, alive, and inviting to each other. It’s all those special sexy environments that we’re talking about.

I'm sharing a tender scene from Remedy Maker, Book 1 of The Centaur series. Rhycious, a  shape-shifting Centaur physician, is...uh...going to examine Patience, his Wood Nymph patient:

Rhycious!” she cried out, going for a scolding tone. But it came across like a sensual invitation.

His arm tightened around her waist, drawing her the wasted millimeter of space nearer. Patience’s mind spun. A man who wanted her was holding her in his arms. She closed her eyes. His mouth traveled up her throat, licking and sucking, until he settled over her lips once more. Persistent and demanding, his tongue slid along the seam until she complied and opened.

He charged right in like a Centaur warrior would, drawing her tongue into battle with his. Feinting and parrying, they slid sensuously against one another.

“My gods, Patience. You taste so damn good.”

And Rhycious tasted of pure Elysium, sending a tingle of exquisite warmth to a spot deep within her. A breathless tension coiled. “Your coffee tastes better than mine.”

His hand cupping her bottom alternated between kneading the cheek and rubbing sumptuous circles. The clench of desire increased between her thighs. She moaned her approval. His other hand traveled upward from her waist and settled under the heavy fall of hair, massaging the base of her skull.

Rhycious backed her up until her knees hit the couch and buckled. He followed her down, arranging her body to stretch out beneath him, his hips spreading her thighs wide. Leaning on one elbow, he used his free hand to push the hair off her face. His feral gleam intensified, and his tawny eyes bore into hers.

Crash and Burn by Melissa Keir

Crashing Into Love:

Seven planes lift offseven planes crashseven stories of struggle, passion and love in the barren Canadian Wilderness, the coast of England, or the steamy heat of a tropical island. Romance hangs in the balance between survival and death.

Crash and Burn by Melissa Keir

Can Rob and Keira's second honeymoon lead to romance, or will it crash and burn?

On the verge of a divorce, Rob and Keira Matthews book a second honeymoon at the urging of their counselor. Unable to conceive, they've pushed each other away in an effort to protect their hearts. Will a romantic holiday be the ticket to love or a plane crash in disaster?

Rob leaned in. His lips caressed hers, tenderly showing the meaning behind his words. When he pulled back, she was eager for more. Her body felt on fire.

Their gazes locked. She stood, kicked off her shoes, and unfastened her jeans. She paused with her hands on her waist. It was powerful having his complete attention. His stare heated her skin.

“About me?” She arched her brow and wiggled her pants down over her hips then turned and bent over as they fell to the sand. Kicking them off her feet, she spun again. Her hands caressed her stomach, up and over her breasts, as she gently squeezed them through her shirt.

His lips parted as he drew in a sharp breath.

“Do you see something you like?” Feeling bold, she lifted her T-shirt over her head and threw it at her husband.

“Hey. Don’t block my view!” He tossed the shirt off to the side as he fumbled with his own jeans. Pulling them off, he laid on his side on the blanket in only his boxers tenting from his desire.

She unclasped her bra, letting it fall at her feet before shimmying out of her panties. Standing naked under the stars, her body still heated. Keira nibbled on her top lip.

“Run your hands over your nipples,” Rob whispered as he stripped off his boxers. “Gently squeeze them, make them firm and begging for my mouth.”

As she did what he commanded, her pussy clenched. Having him direct her actions, enflamed her desire. With her hands still fondling her breasts, she sauntered toward him. “Do you like this?”
He reached out to touch her nipples, but she twisted away.

“Uh-uh.” She danced away from his hands. With her back to him, she bent over, proudly displaying her ass. Her right hand caressed the cheek. “You mad at me? Want to spank me?” Laughter flowed from her lips.

He stretched and grabbed his wife, pulling her down across his lap. His hand splayed on her mid-back, forcing her head down. “Tease me will you?” Smack.

“Hey!” She screamed and wiggled on her husband’s knee.

His hand rubbed the stinging side before air brushed over the bare cheek. Smack. The other side stung. Her clit throbbed for some attention of its own.

“No other woman compares to you.” Smack. “You’re the one who makes me hard.” Smack. Lifting her, he set her upright on his lap. “Can you feel how hard I am for you?” Holding on to her hips, he ground her pussy into his crotch.

About Melissa Keir:

For my wedding in Vegas, my books and computer came with me but there wasn't enough room for my wedding shoes. It’s all about priorities! As an avid reader, I was probably born with a book in hand. Luckily my mom was also an avid reader, so it was easy to "borrow" her books when my books were finished.

I was reading from an early age about dashing men on horseback riding to the rescue of strong willed and capable women who didn't really need rescuing. I came to expect that women in fairy tales should have fought their own battles. When I was older, I found Margaret Atwood and realized that women could re-tell history in their own way and I experimented with changing those basic fairy tales.

Fortunately for me, my husband allows me the opportunity to be myself (spend my salary on books) and still takes care of the really important things for me like killing spiders and opening jars. As an elementary teacher, teaching children about the many worlds inside of books is a gift that I’m lucky enough to do for a living. Teaching the next generation to love reading is a lot of fun! Reading the right book can make a new world come alive!

Currently living in the suburbs of Ann Arbor, Michigan with my darling husband, way-too-grown-up children and spoiled dogs, I enjoy getting away through a book to escape the harsh winters or summer road construction.

I’d love to hear from you!

Crashing Into Love - with Lisa Kumar

The box set called
Crashing Into Love

Seven spectacular authors: Daryl Devore, Brenda Dyer, Jenna Jaxon, Deb Julienne, Melissa Keir, Lisa Kumar, and D'Ann Lindun have banded together to create 7 stories based on love and survival.

Blurb:

When Ashlee Trent meets handsome businessman Kaiden West on a plane to Australia, he eases her fears even as he sets her heart ablaze. But after their plane crashes into the ocean and they wash ashore, will the secrets surrounding him send their budding relationship into a nosedive?

Excerpt:

Realization hit her like a rock. The guy still holding onto her shoulder—and looking at her like she was insane—was Kaiden West.

He was the proud owner of a billion-dollar multi-media company that had its fingers into everything. Magazines, newspapers, film, and advertising were some of the cherries in his pie. And he was plastered on all the outlets he didn’t own.

Ashlee blinked. Maybe she was experiencing a break from reality. Not unheard of. Eddie, her latest schizophrenic child, had nothing on her today.

But no, he was still standing before her in this very plane, touching her shoulder! Which begged the question of why he was on said plane and touching said shoulder.

“I believe we’re blocking the aisle. May I help you to your seat?”

His eyes glittered so prettily and— The actual meaning of his words pierced her addled-mind. Huh? Seat? She nodded. He could help her to wherever he wanted.

“I’m afraid I don’t know your seat number. Can you tell me it, or at least show me your boarding pass?”

Mortification burned through her. He thought she couldn’t talk? She shoved the crumpled pass at him as she forced her tongue into some kind of working order. “Here,” she rasped.

He barely lifted an arched brow over her oddness and guided her toward her seat. The crowd parted before him as if he were Moses. Oh, wait, he was. Moses of the media world at least.

Ashlee stood in front of her seat but didn’t sit. At over six foot three, he didn’t need that extra advantage. She was uncomfortable enough. Why was he even helping her? After a second’s thought, she found she didn’t care. Though it may be stupid and reckless of her, it only mattered that he was by her side. As she worked up the courage to thank him, he reached for her carry-on.

With surprising gentleness, he pulled the bag toward him, so she released her death grip on it. He flashed her a smile that sent the butterflies into her throat before he deposited the bag into the overhead bin.

She swallowed to get some moisture back into her Sahara-like mouth. “Thank you. For your help.”

“It was my pleasure.”

A warm heat stole through her. What was he doing to her?

His blue gaze swept over her, and he opened his mouth as if to say something more. But he inclined his head and headed toward the front again.

Friday Flames Crashes into Love - with Daryl Devore

So excited to be here on Sheri Fredrick's Friday Flames this week.
I've brought along a sexy scene from the newly released box set called Crashing Into Love
Six spectacular authors (Brenda Dyer, Jenna Jaxon, Deb Julienne, Melissa Keir, Lisa Kumar, and D'Ann Lindun) and myself banded together to create 7 stories based on love and survival.
At first we tried to make all 7 stories center on one airplane crash, but that proved impossible – too many very creative minds. Once we settled on crashing our airplane wherever we wanted, then the fun began.
I chose a small deserted island in the Caribbean. It was winter up here in Canada when I wrote the story, so the lure of the heat of the tropics made my choice of islands a pleasure to write about.

Brace for Impact by Daryl Devoré.
What could be simpler than a routine plane trip from Toronto, Canada to Caracas, Venezuela for rookie flight attendant, Lori, and sexy R.C.M.P. officer, Guy Lapierre? But Fate had other intentions.

Excerpt
Guy pushed aside the shredded curtain used as a door and stepped inside. For the first time in hours, he wasn't being drenched by water. He gazed into her hungry eyes and knew he was about to be drowned in love.
He lowered her feet to the floor then leaned forward, slipping a wet nipple between his lips. She wrapped her arms around his head to pull him closer.
He released her bud, lifted his head, grabbed her face and pressed his mouth against hers. Their tongues met and writhed around each other's mouth. He lowered his hands, reached for her panties and peeled the wet fabric down her legs. He dropped them at her feet. Paix stepped out of them, hooked her panties with a foot and flung them across the tiny room. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she jumped and wrapped her legs around his waist. Her crotch pressed against his swollen cock.
She squirmed against him. "I'm naked. Why aren't you?"
"Good question. Hold on tight." He held her with one hand and fought the wet denim. The shorts refused to cooperate.
She tilted back her head and an earthy chuckle erupted from her throat. Dropping her feet to the floor, she ran tiny kisses down his chest. Gripping the waistband of his shorts, she slid them over his hips, freeing his swollen cock. It bobbed outward. He groaned when she slid her fingertips along his thick shaft. With a sharp tug, she dropped his shorts to his ankles and sprang back up around his waist. Her hot sex glided across the tip of his cock.
Lightning flashed illuminating the cabin. Rain splashed through the glass-less windows.
Guy turned, shoved a small table out of the way and pressed her up against the wall. Bracing her there, he slid one hand between their hips and fondled her sex. She was hot and wet. "You are so beautiful. All I could think of was you. I didn't want to die because I needed to get back to you. To discover this." He slipped two fingers inside her.
She closed her eyes as a moan rumbled in her throat.

Favorite Heroines Giveaway Hop!

One of my favorite types of heroines are the ones who decide to take charge of their lives.

They’re not the ones who lay down and take it. If life throws them lemons, then they throw the lemons right back and fly the finger in the face of fate!

I’m coming out with a new contemporary action-adventure romance very soon titled:

Monica Beggs

This heroine isn’t your sweet, simpering librarian.

She isn’t a doctor, lawyer, billionaire, or sheriff either.

She’s a porn star. Tarnished character right out of the gate.

Here’s a snippet to wet youruhwhistle:

“How much time do we have?”

Finn smiled, his boyish charm shining through. “Twenty minutes, why?”

Moni stepped back and pretended to size up the sexy man. She couldn’t wait to get his shirt off and take a peek below the belt. “I bet all we’ll need is ten.”

His mouth dropped and he looked aghast. “Maybe for you. But honey, I have afterburners you know nothing about.”

Sticklers for being on time, the military were precise. Right down to the second. If twenty minutes remained on the clock, more like nineteen now, Moni wanted every moment to count.

“There’s something I’ve wondered since you buckled my seatbelt.” His eyes tracked her tongue as she moistened her lips.

Finn rose from the bed to stand in front of her, between her legs. “Ask me.”

The pole raising a tent in his jeans hovered so near her face. Need thrummed, tension coiled, building a delicious density in her core. It took all the willpower she possessed to not tilt forward and stroke him with the tip of her nose.

No, not yet…

She waited. Remaining quiet, until his hands flexed into fisted balls not once, but twice.

Now.

“Are you sweet—” Moni leaned, keeping her hands gripped to the bed, and inhaled his musky virile scent as she drew the side of her nose along his hard length. “Or spicy?”

My Sexy Saturday!

Sexy can be anything, such as romantic moments like walks on the beach, a home cooked meal or even in another galaxy. It could be two lovers here on Earth dreaming about the day where they go on a magical vacation to another planet. Or staying right here at one of those wonderful places we can find in our own world.

Readers want to see those characters, the ones who can’t get enough of each other as well as ones who are fighting their way back to being part of the world once again. These are the types of characters they can’t forget, the one they want to take home and keep forever. Readers love the kisses, the looks or touch of each and every one of our characters.

Sexy has nothing to do with looks or status or even wealth. It doesn’t demand perfection and it isn’t pretentious, but it does make us want to read those books.

We know that everyone has their own idea of sexy and we all love sexy!

There wasn’t another explanation the counter attendant would have understood without drawing attention to himself and still have her play the oblivious part. He strode back to the bar, dodging kids and outstretched legs. A likelihood of the tangos holding business-class seats was zero to zilch. Removing Monica from the masses would, hopefully, keep her out of their reach during the boat ride to the mainland.
Back at the table, he set his laptop on the empty seat and slid into his own. He casually glanced in the actress’s direction. Though she sat straight backed with nice posture, her brows were scrunched and she appeared captivated by whatever caught her attention on the iPad.

My Sexy Saturday

It's another GREAT Saturday! Time to share seven more lines from my upcoming contemporary romance:

MONICA BEGGS

*****

She suspected it was a macho thing setting the spark of fear in the man's eyes.

"This isn't over," Mariano said softly. "We have no choice but to deliver, our cliente is adamant. Failure or substitution are not acceptable."

Deliver? What the hell was he talking about? Why would anyone want to kidnap and deliver her?

My Sexy Saturday Seven

I've been tagged!

Kate Baum tagged me on Facebook to play 7x7. Seven lines from page seven of the current book I'm writing.

I'll set the scene:

Successful businessman and hobby surfer Finn Daniels (our hero) is waiting to catch the ferry back to the mainland. His background consists of time spent in the military and he's trained to see things most civilians miss -- like the group of huddled men he finds suspicious.

Just who are they after?

Here's seven unedited lines from my Contemporary Action-Adventure Romance:

*****

Monica Beggs

Finn turned his focus to the four dubious predators. The poor saps had no clue what to do with themselves and he found it rather humorous.

After watching them bumble in their seats for an additional twenty minutes, he surmised they were outside their original mission plan. He’d bet his original Kelly Slater surfboard the rats never predicted being delayed in the ferry terminal. As it was, they'd been forced to act upon an unplanned scenario, one in which they hadn’t trained, and their anxiety levels were shooting up.

In his old unit they used to call men like that a bag of dicks. For this unprepared group, they had a problematic situation on their hands. Finn surmised the original plan was to board the woman’s ferry at last call, then make their move only after she stood at the gangway to disembark.

At least, that’s the way he’d have done it.

*****

Okay, so that was nine lines. *Grins*

If you have a 7x7 you'd like to share, and I hope you do!, please use the comment section below and post away!
